Asahi India, Ceat Limited, and Chambal Fertilizers have witnessed a volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.
As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.
More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with a price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.
So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.
Asahi India: The stock surged about 5.07% at the end of the day. It traded positive throughout the day and volume continued to build. In the last leg of the trading session, the stock rallied over 2% and recorded above-average volume. On the technical chart, the stock has formed a bullish candle and closed nearly at a day’s high. Thus, it is expected to be traded heavier for a few more days with a positive bias.
Ceat Limited: The stock soared 3.44% on Thursday. It traded higher amid volatility but showed a clear uptrend in the last hour of the trade. The stock gained about 1% and recorded good volumes, indicating a buying interest. Moreover, it recorded a rise in volume for the third consecutive day. Hence, the stock is likely to be traded heavily in times to come.
Chambal Fertilizers: The stock soared 5.46% since yesterday’s close. After a decent gap-up, it traded higher, but the last hour saw huge buying interest as it rallied over 3.5%. Over 50% of the total day’s volume was recorded in the final 75 minutes. Moreover, the volume is found to be greater than the 10-day, and 30-day average volume. With such positive sentiment, the stock is likely to perform better in upcoming trading sessions.
